King Solomon, the Hebrew monarch who was possessed of great wisdom and who built the first temple is also reputed to have been a mage of great renown. Solomonic magic is one of the great traditions of magical practice. There are a number of books which describe these practices in great detail. Gene's Weird Stuff is pleased to present seven collections of lamens containing the planetary pentacles for the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn as shown and described in The Greater Key of Solomon: Book One - The Order of the Pentacles. Each collection has the pentacles for one of the planets.

These Pentacles are topped by a clear glass cabochon and mounted in an antique brass finished pendant tray suspended on a 27" antique brass finished chain. These pendants are not waterproof and should not be worn while showering, bathing or swimming.

From The Order of the Pentacles:

The First Pentacle of the Moon – This and the following serve to call forth and invoke the Spirits of the Moon; it further serves to open doors in whatever way they may be fastened.

The Second Pentacle of the Moon – This protects against all perils and dangers by water, and if the Spirits of the Moon should excite and cause great rain and exceeding tempests showing this Pentacle, it will make all speedily cease.

The Third Pentacle of the Moon – When worn while upon a journey it protects against all attacks by night, and against every kind of danger and peril by Water.

The Fourth Pentacle of the Moon – This defends from all evil sources, and from all injury unto soul or body. Its Angel, Sophiel, gives knowledge of the virtue of all herbs and stones; and to he who shall name him he will procure the knowledge of all.

The Fifth Pentacle of the Moon – It serves to have answers in sleep, serves destruction and loss, as well as unto the destruction of enemies, also against all Phantoms of the night, and to summon the souls of the departed from Hades.

The Sixth Pentacle of the Moon – This is wonderfully good, and serveth excellently to excite and cause heavy rains.
