Order of the Pentacles

King Solomon, the Hebrew monarch who was possessed of great wisdom and who built the first temple is also reputed to have been a mage of great renown. Solomonic magic is one of the great traditions of magical practice. There are a number of books which describe these practices in great detail. Gene's Weird Stuff is pleased to present seven collections of lamens containing the planetary pentacles for the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn as shown and described in The Greater Key of Solomon: Book One - The Order of the Pentacles. Each collection has the pentacles for one of the planets. These Pentacles are topped by a clear glass cabochon and mounted in an antique brass finished pendant tray suspended on a 27" antique brass finished chain. These pendants are not waterproof and should not be worn while showering, bathing or swimming.

From The Order of the Pentacles:

The First Pentacle of Mercury – It serves to invoke the Spirits who are under the Firmament.

The Second Pentacle of Mercury – The Spirits written serve to grant things which are contrary unto the order of Nature. They easily give answer, but they can with difficulty be seen.

The Third Pentacle of Mercury – This and the following serve to invoke the Spirits subject unto Mercury; and especially those who are written in this
Pentacle.

The Fourth Pentacle of Mercury – This is further proper to acquire the understanding and Knowledge of all things created, and to seek out and
penetrate into hidden things; and to command those Spirits which are called Allatori to perform embassies. They obey very readily.

The Fifth Pentacle of Mercury – This commands the Spirits of Mercury, and serves to open doors in whatever way they may be closed, and nothing can resist it.
