Suppressing the Word of God: The Lost, Forgotten & Forbidden Books of the Bible

We tend to think of the Bible as a single unified whole, unchanging and immutable, when in fact it is an assemblage of many different texts from different cultures and from different time periods. In the case of the Christian New Testament, the contents were determined at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD. At that time it was determined that their should be four gospels to correspoinds with the four cardinal directions. Many books were left out, Many that were left out destroyed. Some survived and are included in this 2 disk collection. This is a good collection for anyone who is interested in Biblical research.
